DO I NEED TO BE A GUEST OF HENDERSON RESORT TO RENT?
Yes. You must be an owner or guest at Henderson Resort in order to rent beach service at this property.
HOW FAR IN ADVANCE CAN I RESERVE BEACH SERVICE?
Guests of the Henderson Resort may rent beach chairs ahead of time through the Henderson Resort website.
ARE TENTS & CANOPIES ALLOWED ON THE BEACH AT HENDERSON RESORT?
Tents and Canopies are not allowed behind the beach access for Henderson Resort. Guests may set up umbrellas and chairs to the west of the Henderson Resort access directly on the State Park, but are subject to the rules and regulations of the State Park. Please see their website for details.
WHAT DO THE COLORED FLAGS MEAN?
The colored flag system represents current Gulf conditions behind the Henderson Beach Resort. Ranging from green to double red, the flag system helps beachgoers determine the safety of the water and make the most educated decision regarding their time spent there. When two red flags are flying please stay out of the water. Two red flags indicate dangerous rip currents and create safety risks for all swimmers.
WHAT TIME IS BEACH SET-UP?
Beach set-up refers to the preparation and setting up of beach chairs and umbrellas each morning. Typical beach set-up begins shortly after sunrise when County officials clear the beach to be operational. Conditions such as weather, local wildlife advocate services, emergency or sanitation services may impact times and set-up locations.
