HOW TO RENT BEACH CHAIRS AT PALACIO
To reserve beach chairs at the Palacio Condominiums, please stop at the beach hut (located near the foot of the beach access) and the attendant on duty will help process your reservation and direct you to your spot in the shade. We look forward to seeing you on the beach!
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
HOW FAR IN ADVANCE CAN I RESERVE BEACH CHAIRS?
Owners at the Palacio Condominiums in Perdido Key may reserve up to two weeks in advance. All guests may reserve at the beach hut directly behind the building. No advance bookings are available for non-owners at this location.
ARE TENTS AND CANOPIES ALLOWED AT PALACIO?
Palacio does not allow personal tents or canopies on the beach behind the property. For the safety and best use of space behind Palacio, those items are prohibited. You may, however, bring your own chairs and umbrellas. Please make sure not to set up directly in front of other visitors and/or rented sets.
IS THE BEACH WHEEL CHAIR ACCESSIBLE?
The beach acesss directly behind Palacio will require all visitors to climb/descend numerous steps. Please contact your vacation rental company for more details or other options.
WHAT DO THE COLORED FLAGS MEAN?
There is a colored flag flying near the beach access at Palacio. The purpose of the flag is to inform visitors of the current Gulf conditions. Ranging from green to double red, the flag system tells of the current rip strength on site. Green flag means that the rip is minimal. Yellow flag says that there is a rip present and visitors should be cautious. A red flag means that there is a dangerous rip tide present and all except most capable swimmers should avoid the water. A double red flag means that no one is allowed in the water.
WHAT TIME IS BEACH SET-UP?
Beach set-up behind the Palacio begins promptly at 7:00AM. Our attendants set up a neat line (or set of lines) in parallel rows along the coast. Certain factors such as weather may delay completion. Our objective is to complete the task correctly.
