HOW FAR IN ADVANCE CAN I RESERVE BEACH CHAIRS?
Guests of the Destin Seafarer may reserve chairs upon arrival. We recommend visiting the tenant at the beach to reserve your chairs the day you arrive and securing a beach set up for you and your family on a weekly basis.
ARE TENTS AND CANOPIES ALLOWED ON THE BEACH AT DESTIN BEACH CLUB?
For the safety of all guests at the beach, and to maintain a clean and accessible pathway for emergency and sanitation services; no tents or canopies are allowed at the beach behind the Destin Seafarer.
IS THE BEACH WHEEL CHAIR ACCESSIBLE?
The beach access behind the Destin Seafarer requires guests to climb or descend stairs. There are approximately 10 steps on the beach side of the Seafarer beach access. For more information wheel chair accessibility please contact your vacation rental company or whomever you rented through.
WHAT DO THE COLORED FLAGS MEAN?
The colored flag system represents current Gulf conditions behind the Destin Seafarer. Ranging from green to double red, the flag system helps beachgoers determine the safety of rip currents. When two red flags are flying please stay out of the water. Two red flags indicate dangerous rip currents and create safety risks for all swimmers. On these days Law Enforcement will be patrolling the beach.
WHAT TIME IS BEACH SET-UP?
Beach set-up refers to the preparation and setting up of beach chairs, umbrellas each morning. Typical beach set-up begins after sunrise and lasts until 8:30AM. Conditions such as weather, local wildlife advocate services, emergency or sanitation services may impact times and set-up locations.
